What are the details of the find. how close to the water? what were you using?

Its a 2 Reale it was in between wet and dry sand so mostly the high tide water line about 8 inches down I have a fisher IV it registered a quarter on my machine. I thought it was a spanish quarter I have found a few of those until I got home and seen the date on the back.

Yes it was. But I reality the conditions weren't the best for that each and there were WAY to many ppl out there . There a bunch of beaches north and south of there w more corrosion where ppk have found Spanish coins and relics!

I got one Reale in strathmere i did about 80 hours on that beach. I found the one Reale near the big pile ons. I talk to a old timer from down there he has found over 70 in his lifetime and one Gold Escudo. He was nice guy to talk to. I hit that area after hurricane Irene and the hurricane added more sand then took away.
