Im not building one of those ones that uses a big bucket to hold the water but rather one that may use a medium sized container. i have found a 120 volt cord from an old answering machine I had.

would that be too much juice going thru and burn it up?
 
I hope you mean 12v cord, please be very careful when using electricity without the correct knowledge. Not trying to sound rude, only for the benefit of your safety.

Wow right there with you redneck. why stop at 120v? unhook the air conditioner and use 220...:shock:
