WHOA! Thats a HUGE cleaner!!!
For a more delicate cleaning, find any old AC to DC power supply and hook one wire end to the coin and the other to a coil fashioned to fit in the bottom of a clear glass container. You'll see bubbles rising from the coin after a few seconds of waiting for it to clean. Does a better job than hitting the coin with eraser!
