Default Minelab Pro-Find 35 - Field test and first impressions.

Testing the ferrous tone ID feature and my first impressions after using it a few times.

Mine came today bench tested it on my front deck.. it seems to work well

Mine seems to pick up iron junk, i thought it wasn't suppose to do that?

Does it give a different tone for iron and non-ferrous objects ??

Today it pick up pennies and in a different hole it pick up nails. All the same sound

You need to activate the ferrous tone by holding the pointer away from metal and holding the plus button for 6 seconds and you should hear a long tone. Then you should get a different tone for ferrous and non ferrous targets

Dual purpose button. Difference is pressing or holding.
