I finally pulled the trigger and bought a new pinpointer after watching several videos and asking around and it was in my mailbox today. I’m hoping this brings more precious metals to my stash.

It definitely will. :-) Good luck. I'm interested in seeing how it performs. I run the Deteknix (now Quest) X-pointer Pro and it is fantastic except on small gold/foil. If you get a chance, test it on a fine gold chain or a small (<1gr) nugget. or tiny piece of foil. Let me know how far away it picks those up.
