Few years ago our beaches were big spring break destinations, not so much now since they banned drinking on the beach. Also had a big brawl and too much trash left on the beach, city cracked down....
Cans are everywhere in Fl., wish we had a deposit, scrappers won't waste their time on cans, only time cans are a thing is if Aluminum goes up. Heck, even I collected when it was 90 cents a pound.
My girlfriends dad owned a plumbing biz. retired well off, but still bicyled around collecting cans, one day on the bike trail ,under an overpass, a passerby handed him $5 and told him he was doing a good job
