With most of the fields I search now under crop I have to look at fields which will be seeded with maize in the spring or have been put to grass for silage for next year.

All the finds came from fields that have been ploughed over the last few years so most of the finds are within the top 6 to 8 inches.

With my Deus Lite I use a simple set up, Deus Fast on 12 kHz's or if interference from overhead powers cables/electric fences I use the same settings but on 18 kHz's. (V2 software)

Thanks for looking ..............Doug.

Thank you Boris. The Charles 1st came from the field the other side of the road from where we hunted together when you came over to England earlier in the year.

cool seal!!

Thank you Debby.

Those old silver coins are wonderful! That fox button really caught my eye though...very nice work and great hunting!

Thank you, I'm guessing a hunting button by the image but not 100% sure.

Finds Doug, glad to see you out hunting fields, thanks for sharing, Earl

Thank you Earl. I tad bit cold over here at the moment, yesterday I could only manage 2 and a bit hours with the wind chill factor well below 0 degrees C.
