Has anybody found any kind of protectant (303, armorall, etc.) that will keep the rubber jacket on coil and headphone cables from degrading and cracking off?

303 is very good, and the one I use McNett Silicon spray also. In the 10 years I've been hunting saltwater never had one even crack on the excalibur's, and they are famous for it. What it amounts to is keeping them lubed. Even in storage make sure to rub the cables down with some Dow 111 before storing away.

I use 303 on the neck, wrist, and ankle gaskets on my two piece dry suit and they haven't dry rotted or cracked, and the suit is over ten years old. 303 is some pretty good stuff.;)
