I was going over some old stuff I've saved over the years to do some cleaning when I came across these. I've had the bills for about 20 years now, but totally forgot about them. I never gave them too much thought, since they have the word "copy" on them, though the paper looks and feels old and the yellowing and crinkling seems natural enough. Any ideas?

I remember similar looking souvenir bills being sold to us Yankee tourists around Lookout Mountain, TN in the late 50's.

A souvenir type note is what I was thinking too, though there were also many fakes made during the 1940-1960 era. It seems that many fake notes were printed on yellow or brown parchment type paper to give it that old kind of look.  :)

I suspect that these are from that time.

Those ar cool. Shoot me a mail if you'd like to sell them. They would look good in my collection.

Same type of souvenier that we see here. This area has lots of Constitutions, Declaration of Independance, & Bill of Rights for sale to the touristas.
