$2600.00 penny

Watch those pennies. At our last months meeting I was shown a penny that he had got at an estate sale. He paid $12.00 for a book with some of the slots filled. I don't collect coins but he was excited. It was a 1922 penny I believe. This month he had the EBAY printout showing he sold it for $2600.00. I checked the site link below and it must have been a 1922 no mark. Use the link and always check your coins. I've never bothered unless it was silver. Rob

Ahhh yes, the 'ole 1922 no D penny. Glad he ended up with the real deal - a ton of fakes are selling on Ebay

Great advice! I use the site regularly. I don't collect either, but it could be a costly mistake not to check everything.
