Hey All
I went out to an old WW2 US Army camp site with some friends of mine and found some cool relics and Coins.
This also was a camp for Australian troops as well and as you can see in the pics an iconic Aussie Military badge, the rising sun.
We do pick a lot of US coins out there which has sparked my interest in collecting US Coinage.
The best US coin I found out there was a 1897 Morgan Silver dollar, honestly I was gobsmacked and did a major happy dance that day.
Here's some pics, enjoy:)

Tent rope tensioner looks the same as what we find in Indian Wars camps. Not much change over the years, I guess it worked so no one fixed it!

Wow! Great finds. Congrats on the Morgan! Been digging 40 years on/off in the US and have never found a Morgan.

Wow! Cheers for the feedback and posts guys:)
That Morgan is the only one I know of to be found
Down here out of all of us too.
I was speechless when it popped out into the sunlight
but she's pretty worn though.
Also thanks for the feedback on the rope tensioner mate
gives me some idea what you guys find over there
All the best
