The biggest dang gold ring I've found.

Went for a quick 30 minute hunt today on my way back from the post office. Didn't expect to find much but I got a bangin solid 20 on the nox way down there in the surf zone and thought I had a big lead weight. 5 giant frustrating scoops later I had the target.

Wish I had a pic of it laying in the sand. I thought "what the hell is that? It looks like gold but there is no way something that big is a ring!"

Well, the first pic is of my ring inside it and I wear an 11. Took it to a jeweler and his mandrel passed all the way through it. The biggest ring sizer he had was a 16 and this one is bigger.

Second one is of the new one, my wedding ring, and a similar smaller one I found. Lastly, with a quarter.

15.5g of 14k and the nox just finished paying for itself.

Thanks for reading and hh.

Now that is described perfectly. It is a BIG ring ! Got some weight as well. I personally consider size 13 and up to be big. Most mens lately seem to be in that 9-11 range. Nice.

That’s not a ring that’s a bracelet!! Lol. What I’m more interested in is the chrome antlers?! What’s the story on those...?

Holy Shinto.

That's ginormous.

Some people wear rings on their thumbs...but that looks to be too big for even a normal thumb.

HONKER for sure!! NIce save! Goliath's ring!

I wear a size 13 myself, yet to find a ring that fits...

I think it belonged to this man...

Lol, hammerhead shark statue actually. Wife got it to commemorate her fin getting chomped on during a shark dive.

Whats really funny is that your jewelers ring mandrel passed all the way through it like a fart through a mitten!!!!! You can imagine the look on that jewelers face? WTH? Is this a ring or a bracelet? Is it gold or bronze? Is it some sort of nautical component? "Get out of here with this 2" bronze prop shaft thrust bearing wouldja? Stop wasting my time with this beach junk! I got earrings to sell dammit!"

Thanks Musky! I got one good laugh out of your post imagining what a jeweler would say...

Monster gold ring and it rang up as a "20" on the Nox; I would have thought it a cent and depending on my condition (exhausted at end of hunt) might have passed on it. Ya just never know for sure!
Congrats. PS I just found a 14k watch and band and it came in a little larger than 15g! I agree it must be a bracelet for a little one.

Sssheeesk, I go out of town for ONE WEEKEND, and you're already poaching my beaches taking my rings ?? Ok, but I expect my 30% cut of the action ! hahaha

Congratz dude ! The pix with the quarter in the center says it all ! I can't imagine the size of a fellow with fingers that size ! And yes, the gold melt value alone , on that single ring, probably paid for your gear now !

I had fun reading the other's comments too :

Lol. Just realized I've got a big old bronze prop laying around. And...turns out it's a perfect fit!
