Found this bullet today over in Utica, MS. There was some civil war activity in the area. Grant stayed in a house just down the rd at one point. I measure the base which was the only part which appeared to not be deformed from striking something. It was 0.295. Also it appears to have a couple of rings on it. Heavy patina as well. How long does it take to turn a piece of lead plum white? Here is some photos.
