Got up early and did some fly fishing with Gonebeeping. Beautiful day, but the Clinch River was the Grinch River today.

Way too many people fishing. Rivers are becoming so crowded here considering giving up my fly fishing hobby. Every riffle and hole had at least one person.

Feeling a little down after dinner I headed to my pounded local park to see if I could get a wheat after a good soaking rain. No wheats, but got a couple older Jeffs, 1923 Merc that was in hole with iron (can see rust on the Merc) and a first year Rosie! Really a surprise to get a couple more silvers from that spot.

Thanks Trapper. Really happy with silvers. The goal was a wheat.

Try fishing Alaska.....spent 45 years up there & almost never saw another fisherman while I was out! But don't try to be alone around the Anchorage, Kenai, or Fairbanks areas.....combat fishing there! Nice Merc!!!

Congrats on the nice silver recoveries!

Thanks JaK!

Excellent work! I've never seen a Merc, what a great looking coin.

Thanks Dirty, you’ll get a Merc. Read your bio. When I was a kid at Tyndall I found a lot of silver in Capehart housing. My Dad is a retired Chief and I’m a retired O5, both USAF.

BURP!!!! Time to go nab some silvers! Nice work! Bummer about all the folks fly fishing.

Lol, thanks GS. I think I’m hanging up my waders unless I fish private water. Public fishing is just outa control.
