45 minute GW tonight, #39 silver FTY

It was hot today so I did some yard work early and then lounged all day. Filled up on pizza for dinner and decided to walk it off at the hunted out park. Got a great tone amongst some iron and isolated it. Solid 96 on the Lite...could it be a silver quarter? Yep, well worn 1935 GW. Silver # 39 and GW #8 FTY!

Congrats! I have been detecting about 7 years. I have had great finds! But a GW silver quarter seems to be on my bucket list!!! I have found a Standing Liberty 1921 and some silver 50 cent coins,but this is my nemesis. Congrats!!! I think the big silver coins are all picked out everywhere I go!!!! Cool!

Thanks. I'm sure a GW will pop up soon. 8 of my 39 silvers this year are GWs. I haven't found a Stander in 2 years!
