Gamma 6000 and All Metal Mode

I have a Gamma 6000 and am not sure what I am doing in all metal mode.
the thing just doesn't shut up. Works great in Discrimination but in AM it just is a noise machine. how do I set it up to be a quieter and only target actual metal.. I ground balance it as usual should I be doing something different with Tones or sensitivity?

I know nothing about the Gamma 6000, but it sounds like you may be in some high mineral dirt. Try lowering your sensitivity
