Went to the lake at lunch today. Water level is going down 
Went to a spot I rarely go to, was surprised when a ring showed up. Initially thought a junker, then saw stamps inside and for a short millisecond was hoping for gold
but alas it read 925. Been a slow 925 year, 21 last year, 6 so far this year. Least gold is holding above average for the year, keep trying to raise that up a few pieces more.
Also found a cool dog tag - no clue how old but has the current phone number of the county animal shelter on it. I like it tho!
Was nice to get out as always, used ‘Gold Siren’ - my waterproofed Compade, which I just modified with a copper 3-piece straight shaft (two 3/4” copper pieces and the coil rod). Really happy with how it turned out I’ll have to take a pic and post it. Will be handy for sure.
