Went out of town (as usual) and thought maybe I found a good spot, but oh lordy the diggin' was tough, not everywhere but most of it. It felt as though someone had taken a roller over it. I did manage 2 wheats and some clad (1.70). Second stop I got a small pendant (junk) BUT I do believe the 2 stones that are left might be real. I say this because the "diamond" looks like a promotional one. What I call "why bother diamonds" and the greenish one is faceted pretty descent. But who knows might all be garbage, not like I'm going to wear it. I threw in a couple of pieces from other hunts, Sumter SC Electric Company pat. 1912, key blank. Need to get me a house, I'm not cut out for the other stuff LOL

I know they're pretty common, but I'm always happy to find wheat cents - it gives me some hope that other older (silver) coins may be found at that spot. I'll bet there are more keepers waiting for you there.
