Garrett has always been excellent to correct a design flaw and replace the items at no charge.

Exactly! Take for example the Pro Pointer button. Garrett noticed right away that it was a failing flaw with the pro pointer and corrected it without many issues to report.

This is why I love Garrett and Garrett products.

I actually got through 5 arm rests in under a year on my 250, before i gave in and made my own.
Never looked back since.

Your broom stick is probably the culprit... you stated you are swinging fast so therefore you are torquing the arm rest too much.

Pullll tabbbbbbb!!!!!

The cuff broke on my atpro as well and garrett shipped me a new one pretty quick. I just took the cuff off my 250 and put it on the Pro till the new one came in.

mmmmmmmmmm

I would upgrade to a high end detector, the ace 250 is low end,the amount of money you spent on cuffs, and part's, you could have bought one,try a fisher detector-- metal arm cuff,5 year warrenty, happy hunting,Earl
