Never used a Teknitics but started with the Ace 250 and learned and found a lot. Today I have 9 machines which includes 3 ATPs and I understand the 400 is close to it. I still occasionally use the 250 because it's a lot of fun but the ATPs get 85-90% of my use.

I like a fast machine and the Delta is not known to be super swift...(rapid recovery).
I would add the Fisher F44 and the Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro to that list.
Both quick, the Fisher is weatherproof, both have bigger numbers on the screen than the Ace.

Look at the eurotek pro, or fisher f22 or f44 much more bang for your buck. Shoot detectingMO. A pm he'll give you a great deal and answer any questions!
