30U Plymouth and I met up today for an afternoon hunt.
After a wonderful lunch and conversation we set out for
an empty lot that I was told had a house on it in from the 40s. .
30U dug a nice cross along with some clad and a few live bullets,
while my big find was a cache of hot wheels. :D. We dug alots of junk.
But all in all we had a great day. I met a new detector buddy and we got some
time in on our new 1350s.

Finding a friend is priceless. Found a friend myself here (scorpio264) with whom I had two good learning experiences with. A journeyman apprenticing his helper is one way I see it, a friendship bonded by MDing is the other, with more adventures on the way.
Nice story of a hunting tandem being formed, and the finds were nice too. Hey frog... look for a Hot Wheels garage display at yard sales for your newly acquired car collection, it'll dress them up a bit:lol:

You guys down south must be warmer than up here cause our ground is so hard you can't dig in it with out a backhoe . Congrats on the finds and the new hunting buddy wish there was someone close to me but so far I haven't found anyone . Like the car cache took me all summer to get that many .
