Ever dug a flowing hair coin from USA? I'd like to see that one.

yes ,i have...i dont know if pic will load... it made the hair on the back my neck stand up much like the image on the coin...found 1877 indian head an a 3 cent piece on same hunt...was my most memorable hunt ever... think its 1793 as you can faintly see a 3 on lower right side...

Don't think I've ever seen one posted on any of the metal detecting forums. Mintage was really low for all of them, so the odds are not good to dig one up.

Half dime: 1794-95 (mintage 86,416)

Half dollar: 1794 (mintage 23,464)
1795 (mintage 299,680)

Dollar: 1794 (mintage 1,758)
1795 (mintage 160,295)
