I've been working some old land that has been farmed forever, but evidently had some traffic on it as I've been finding some cool relics and finally some coins. Up until this weekend I had spent roughly a bazillion hours detecting out there, but only detected one coin, an Indian Head penny.
Then Wednesday I stumble across 2 old crusty wheats and a V nickel! Wow 3 coins in one day? I couldn't believe it!
Saturday my girlfriend and I went back out and I find another Indian Head, and then the dime... Man I didn't know what to think when I saw that dime in the hole! My first silver in the hole and all I could think was, don't get too excited, it's probably a button!

Your first silver coin was a barber ? That's no fair. You're supposed to go in date order : 100 clad, then a silver roosie, a merc, and THEN a barber. Tsk tsk. No skipping to the head of the class. You have to "pay your dues" like the rest of us did.

Ok now, go do the right thing and re-bury it till later.

Oh, and I love the in-situ reveal pix ! :cool3:
