Where did you do your first detecting?

my first hunt was with my dad and some of his friends. we went to a park in Allentown Pa. on a break he asked me if I found anything. I said yes, a quater. He asked "what year?" I looked at it and said 1964. "that's silver!" he said followed by "it took me 6 months to find my 1st silver coin!" My first coin and first hunt, hit silver! Thanks dad!

After the yard(in which I tore up my own brass sprinkler head right at a one inch to 1/2" elbow reducer nobody makes anymore :laughing:

)...I moved to the little league park,and it took me 4 hours to find .31 and a small plastic incredible Hulk arm :lol:

At least you can sell the brass sprinkler head to the scrap yard for a few bucks I guess! :laughing:

My back yard first then the park down the street. Found more in my yard than the park.
