the older deeper ones!
If you have real pain in the butt bottles to clean there are quite a few ways to get them ungunked inside.
Water and Barkeepers Friend with a baby bottle brush
bit of sand and some water swirled/sloshed/shaken
water and bit of CLR is good for the calcite and lime residue
fill one side of the sink with water and dump in a cup of white vinegar and let them sit for awhile.
tiny copper pellets and water
those are the "basic" ways i've cleaned bottles before.
keep the pics coming!!
good luck digging!!! I havent tried the copper method yet either, but people on the bottle forums swear by it. I hate that white scale that gets into bottles and the small etching cuts in the glass.
I'm hauling the 2box detector up the farm this weekend during the youth hunting weekend. Let the kids hunt with grandpa and spend some alone daddy time looking for ore. It is the copper country after all! But reading this thread makes me want to dig too. And it's nice and cool out now. I'll probably just test the 2box out, haul out the F2 and MD toward the dumps so I can do both.
Dont want to sadden you but only the last green bottle has value. I break or pass up 99% of screw lid bottles.(they arent old/collectable)
