Went to a nearby city, yesterday. Basically, just broke even on the gas money, but I did manage a silver ring out of an elementary school there. It's pretty nice, too. First thing my wife did was try it on (didn't fit). Tells me it was a winner though.
There was $8.75 in quarters (37). that's always fun. The $12.23 was nabbed in just under 3 hours. I even took a break to grab a McD's burger.
Nothing special about the hunt, except that I had gone there to find gold class rings. I've found 3 in that city... thought for sure I could nab a 4th. It's there, I'm sure, just haven't uncovered it, yet! I sure dug a lot of trash, though. Probably 10 pop tops.. And when I say pop tops, I don't mean pop tabs... I mean the whole dang top! It was weird, too, because there wasn't a lot of can slaw... just the tops of aluminum soda cans! LOL
And yeah, i know the stamp looks like 926... It tested positive for silver though. Good find.
