Default Father's Day Weekend Gold and Silver

Just a great day today spending time with the family. A little time in the pool along with grilling T-Bone steaks this evening made for an awesome day.

Yesterday was also a great day....spending a few hours at one of my favorite beaches. The crowds were good, but even fo the middle of June here in So. Cal., it was a cool 70 degrees.

Just enough targets to keep me busy. Along with the nice silver ring, I was fortunate to find a very cool 3.48g 10k religious pendant.

Good Luck....Be Safe....Jeff.

Nice pendant! I take it the ring on Starfishy's left arm is junk?

I'm always glad to see finds from Southern California. We seem to be short of Colonial silver and 1800s artifacts but rich in modern clad and jewelry! I plan to hit some beaches myself fairly soon.

Hello Losfound....On Saturday I used my Whites's Dualfield. Since there was no forecast for sand movement, I needed as much depth as I could get. Yes....maybe I dug a few more junk targets, but I used what I thought was the right detector for the right conditions.

Thanks....Jeff
