I dug up this ring last night.

I don't know what it's made of but I don't think it's silver. Does anyone know what this symbol is. It could be upside down or it could just be a splash of paint design.
 
You should have seen me standing in front of my computer twisting my head upside down so I could look at it the other way. Crick-city.

If that's a symbol it's pretty muddled. Rorschach test ring for nerd superheros? I think it's probably paint remnants or the remnants of a symbol. Got me.

Might be what's left of a crudely done M-13 symbol. A violent gang with roots in El Salvador. Then again, could be a paint splash! Cool find! :cool:
 
Our metal detecting club will have organized hunts and bury stuff marked with paint like that and offer prizes if you find it. Could it have been in a site that they may have had a hunt?
