Hi Carol and others, I am from n.calif. and detect for gold with minelab 4000&4500. I have the best hunting partner anyone could ask for, but I didn't ask, I just showed up a couple years ago.(lol):spin: I haven't had the time till now to look at your forum and will be looking and willing to pick a few brains out there for new tips along good stoies. thanks again Badger

Do you look for nuggets?

There are not many places for that.

The only gold I know of in AR has to be

panned or slussed. How ever you spell that?

Not much need for a MD.

Welcome from SoCal, :yes: Badger. The group I am gonna be prospecting with go to the East Fork of the San Gabriel. And YES the do find nuggets MD'ing. :biggrin: Maybe :!:we could pick your mind too, about NoCal rivers.

Ive been looking at some prospecting areas online and hope to make a trip up the 49 this summer.
