The CTX 3030 model from Minelab has been in the market for more than 6 years and I would like to know if there is news about when a new version will be released.

Welcome to the forum. There will never be another CTX. Minelab has stated that the FBS technology has gone as far as it can go. That is why the Equinox is the newest detector instead of a CTX4040

Thank you very much for the reply.

I have read about comparisons between the Equinox 800 vs CTX 3030 and I see that the price difference of 1000 usd vs 2000 usd is quite high.

Minelab will not release a better treasure hunter in 2019 than Equinox 800?
