Hey all. Since fall fell I have been busy with other pursuits. While house-sitting for my folks, I went back to a ravine in the the woods that was once a dumping area for the nearby houses. This neighborhood was started in about 1912. All of the houses were heated with coal and they dumped all the waste "clinkers" along with all other trash into this area. These examples are the best of what I just pulled from the edge of the rubble. Two of the milk glass jars have the Harriet Hubbard Ayer stamp on the bottom. The other says "westerole-cleveland". The glass Vaseline jar has the chesebrough new york patent on it, which is about turn of the century. The others I brought back are pretty cool, too. There is much more there to find. It will just take some digging. Thanks for looking. GL&HH.
