FINALLY got out for a hunt SUCCESS

Its been A LONG time since I made a post. Have not been out for a hunt in at least 2 months. This HOT, HUMID Kansas weather is tough on this old man. Not to mention, ground has been as hard as concrete.
But we got some rain last few days and I thought ITS TIME. Just had a couple hours to hunt so went to a spot Ive been on several times. Found some pennies then got a hard 12/43 hit, 5". Dug down and out pops this 1898 Barber Dime. I was a little rusty on my HAPPY DANCE but did it anyway and I don't care if anybody seen me. Been a LONG TIME since I found silver. ANYTIME I can find a Barber it is a successful hunt for me. I know its now much but I had to post anyway.
CTX3030 RULES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was running coins, deep on, +3, ground coin.

Good deal, that's the way to get back going again.

And know what you mean about the dry hard ground. But at least we've been getting some rain in this part of the state.

For 3 years I hunted a lot of places in and around the NE section of Kansas and into the NW area of Missouri and never found a Barber dime.
It wasn't for lack of trying, I hunted in plenty of areas where others found them but for the life of me I never could.
Maddening.
I had to return to Alabama to finally find one, I thought it would never happen up until I did.

Good to know there are actually a few still buried in that state.
