Hello all my wife and I were out the other day at an old homesite and found a few items. Some buttons a wheat penny and also a figure/doll something? Not exactly sure what it's made of I'm guessing lead or cast. Anybody ever seen something like this it know where to find out more? Thanks and happy digging!
Oh yes the back is completely flat maybe it was attached to something.

It is in pretty good shape and weird. Looks likes it's an ugly woman

Reminds me of an old Brady Bunch episode where they found that creepy idol. Better put it back

Looks like ...

It has a ethnic orgin ( reminds me of Russian Netting Dolls by it's shape and then it's not or it does not have the need to be "cute" if it represents a women . Can you tell us the area or the country it was found in . Simply asking leaves out any clues we could use to point towards it's orgin.
IMHO , Woodstock

Figure

Well it's Western New York. The oldest map I can find has a date of 1866. The last name on the house on the map was Vallance.
