Small coils/small coins

Two finds from yesterday from well worked ground. Stock and larger coils could find no more but a drop in coil size allowed two small coins to be found.
The hammered copper is a rose farthing (quarter of a penny) of about 1640. The other coin is a silver one and a half pence of 1884. Shocking condition but is really rare in the U.K. as they were all exported to the colonies. Looks like this came back as a charm which has totally devalued it.

Great finds Brian! Those coins are really small! What depth(s) were they found at?

Good going! Wow, That quarter looks like it was never in the ground!
