Hi everybody,
I am new to the forum and to metal detecting. I will be moving around a bit from Indiana to Texas, Iowa and maybe Florida this year.
I took a trip to Florida last month, did a little beach detecting and found this 925 necklace in the dry. The real find was a Minelab Quattro on craiglist with an extra 4.5x7 coil for $120 and a sand scoop for another $10. This seems like an upgrade from the F22.
I have also found about $10 in change, a broken cotal bell and some square nails while detecting in Indianapolis, 3 wheaties and other random bits in Iowa. No silver coins yet.
The nearby nature park has mostly produced pennies and trash besides the old nails and lots of rusted barbed fence that keeps my machine falsing in certain areas. Guess I just gotta keep after it. I have only just started.
