I am looking to get into metal detecting. I am looking for a handheld detector that can be taken underwater, something that looks like what I have attached.
I have seen many detectors like this on Amazon and they all look exactly the same, but the name of the manufacturer listed is different.
I'm concerned that many of these are counterfeits or fake. How can different manufactures make a product that looks exactly the same in design and in color?
Can anybody refer me to any website that sells detectors about the size of what I have attached?
I know there are pin pointers out there by Garrett and other companies, but I'm fairly certain that the detection radius on those is maybe an inch or less.
