1863 Civil War Patriotic Token

My coolest find of the year is this 1863 Civil War token.

The front says "The Flag of Our Union"

The back says "If Anyone Attempts To Tear It Down, Shoot Him On The Spot"

Found these today too along with 18 wheat pennies, 1911 being the oldest.

Also found this teeny tiny lead ball.
I'm guessing it's a small musket ball?
It's only about 1/4 of an inch.

Congrats! That token is my favorite find of 2012!

My one came in at 12-35 on my CTX. Found in Syracuse, NY

That musket ball looks like grape shot. It must have came in pretty low.

How about that! Yours is in much better shape. It was coming in at 12-37/38 on the e-trac. Found it on an public elementary school grounds in New Jersey.

Yours is in just as good shape! I use fiberglass cleaning pens to clean copper and bronze coins, then I wax them. I bet yours will clean up just as nice. The pens cost about $8 each and don't last very long... They work great though.
