third successful recovery

Sunday one of my friends who knows I metal detect called me and asked if I could help him. he started eating a peach by his driveway and didn't like how it tasted so he tossed it to the woods behind house. after he did that he realized a special large gold ring was no longer on his finger. he looked for two days before calling me. he said hopefully its in grass between the driveway and the woods. Took me couple trips back and forth in the area and found it. was cool looking, had large lions head on it. also found various wire trash, hot wheel, clad dime. He was thrilled! made my day. We're also both Scout leaders. Boy Scout Slogan "Do a good turn daily", check.
