Rough day Left home at 6:30 this AM, and was on my spot by 7:00 with DeLeon in hand. I hunted 'til 2:30.
1st stop I picked-up a '41 wheatie and an 80's Rosie, and part of a large skeleton key. I also dug something I thought was part of a locket (right side, middle) but it looks like half the "S" in "U.S.".
I was going to hold off on going across the highway until after the rains came and went, but because I didn't do as well at the 1st field as I'd hoped, I went to the other spot. I was only there about an hour before I just wore-out.
I picked-up a good luck token, and what looks to be a penny (same size), but can't make-out anything on it, and part of a smaller skeleton key. The coin is soaking in peroxide right now. This spot had clay-gravel poured-over the spot the old house sat, so digging there was impossible.
I'll re-hunt the 1st site, using the Vaquero next time. I'm hoping they'll disc the field sometime, it'd make for easier hunting.
In the meanwhile, I'll sleep good tonight
