One coin I've been wanting to find at the racetrack was a buffalo nickel. Figured the time frame should be right. Went out in the heat this afternoon and started working a little harder in the area I found my last Rosie and wheats. Was experimenting with different settings. Got a nickel tone I liked so I dug and came up with the no date buff. My first and one more off my bucket list. added two more wheats, a 41 and 55. -------Added a 53 Rosie tonight--------------
I seem to have a little war going on between the rosies and the mercury.
When ever one gets one up on the other, it isn't long before I find another.
Went out to the racetrack while I was waiting for a fuel delivery, and was testing different modes and signals. Had a strong signal that I was sure was a bottlecap, so I dug it and sure enough, found a rusty cap. Rechecked the hole and had a better signal. Turned out there was a mercury hiding under the bottle cap. !!
I think that puts me at 20 of each !!!!!
(added a 43 war nickel and a 44 wheat tonight)
