Possible OLD cattle tag?

I found a small coin-shaped object several months ago, in a trail in my neighbourhood. It says 210 on one side, and has an "A" on the other side. I immediately assumed it was a mail key attachment-thingy, but now I realize it looks far older than our 10-15 year old neighbourhood. The only thing here before, was fields in the middle of nowhere, Texas. I believe it looks like an old cattle tag. Could anyone confirm/disprove this, and give me a approximate date? Thanks, Jare.

Could also be a hotel key tag, or baggage tag from a railroad.

Now that I look again, I think the "A" your seeing might just be damage to the item, and I would say it isn't a cow tag because of the design around the edge of the item.

Here are some better pictures after cleaning it up. I believe it is a hotel key tag, as you guys said. There is a hotel in the area that ran from 1913 to the 50's... does anyone think it could be from that time period? Thanks

Could be a tag from a mine. The ones workers put on the board to let everyone know they were in the mine. Just a thought.
