I was just able to secure permission to dig at a historic property which was owned by a prominent Georgia family at the turn of the century. The actual residence predates the Civil War but it has only been located at its current location since the beginning of the 1900's (as if that is a bit too recent 
. To me this is as good as any "Diggers" site and without a TV crew. Just anxious to see what it may hold though it will be a few days before I can get out there.
