Some of the dimes I found at my honey hole 2 of the Rosie's were in the same hole. I got this 1945 20 cent piece from the Philippines but its says USA on it. This is just a few of them I got 23 silvers for the year so far. Last year i got like 19 from this spot. I haven't posted any of those pics except the 1900 barber quarter.

No problem. Now the only thing you need to figure out is how the devil it got to West Virginia.

I found a Japanese gaming token in Charleston at a local park where mostly kids play and fish. Wondered the same thing...How in the world did it get to WV?

I do know that the Philippine coins had more silver by weight than their US versions. So, people would go there and buy a lot of silver coins , bring them back and melt them to make a pretty penny. At least that is what my coin guy says. I think they’re beautiful, like most things that age !

I found a 20 and 50

pice

I would like to know the story of a 1 pice coin I dug up last summer from a curbstrip in Forreston, Illinois. It is a 1954 coin and it says government of India on the back. I was told that there had been a church on that lot that was torn down many decades ago, maybe a returning missionary dropped it there.

I also found a 20 centavos from PI in WV. It was minted in Manila. For some reason I kept one that I picked up in Manila back in the early 60's so I knew exactly what I had when it came out of the dirt. It was a 1945 that was minted in Denver. I wondered if maybe the owner of the property in WV had been in Pi around WW-II. His grand daughter gave me permission to detect her property.
