Just dug this up between where an old house stood and a barn. It's not really a star I guess, as it has only 4 points. Has a rolled top edge and a magnet sticks to it. Maybe a mini baking pan for small cake or bread? Or maybe a cover for something but no holes visible where it bolted on etc. I have also found some children's small scale play cups in the area in the past.

Picture of top side may help. Any trace of where rivets may have been for a handle. My mom had a full set of Christmas cookie cutters in a cardboard box when I was a kid, Santa, snowman, angle, and I believe a star that looked much like that. Just don't remember them being steel.

No rivet holes or rivets - the top edges are rolled so probably not a cutter. I went back there today and found more mystery items... jeez.
