If you’d like to be able to read the numbers at night without using a headlamp, this simple, no weight solution worked nicely for me. Held in place with tightly wrapped electrical tape, this clip on book light bends out of the way when not in use. The light can’t take water but can be easily removed if needed. There are probably other solutions out there but this worked for me, thought I’d share.

Been there. Done that. I intended to wire a plunger button from the light to the grip but never got around to it. It's silly they didn't include a backlight given the "all terrain" name.

That is a cool idea that I will be sharing with a couple of friends. However, technically, it's not a "no weight solution".

simple solution! If you can slap a green filter on it or a green LED it will be easier on the eyes at night.
