I made it to the beach today to see how much sand was moved from Florence.

Well she definitely moved a lot but also put a lot of sand on lower beach. Targets were scattered as expected. A lot of aluminum shard, bits and cans. I hardly found any clad which I thought was odd.

I did manage to find a couple nickels between mid to high tide line so I decided to work that area. Between all the aluminum cans and trash targets I got a penny signal, 20 on the nox. I thought it was a penny but out popped a 14k men’s band. I double checked the target id just to be sure....Yep 20. I then decided to go to another beach access and it was even worse with more sand piled up. So I worked close to the water and got another ring! It says 750 on the inside. I believe white gold! A found a couple silver pieces as well.

Maybe some of this sand on the lower beach will move out in a few days!

Thanks for looking

Good luck pirates! ☠️💍

Really nice hunt!!! Ill be down at Myrtle beach in 2 weeks, was debating on skipping it (stopping on the way to Daytona&Disney) but wasnt sure what the conditions would be after Florence. Great job!

Man! Thats a Monster of a Yellow! Unless you got really tiny baby hands? Gotta be all of 12grs+! That white 18k is no little one either! Gotta be all of 8gr+?

Congrats on the 14 and 18k double header! Thanks for the report on the tone and TID signal too!

This is the cut I was working! This is the best part of the beach for sure.

This is the bad part of the beach. Really flat conditions. Sand on top of sand.
