That Adam 12 show was very good.

My personal favorite was the show about the street racers who get convinced to stop and start using the drag strip instead.

One of his first films was "Life with Father" (1947) with William Powell and Irene Dunne. He played their teen-age son. Route 66 was good, one of the few TV shows filmed on location. They shot one of them a stone's throw from my house in 1961.

Took the first job I could find after "retiring" from the Army after 21 years.

Was a radio police dispatcher.

Always liked Adam-12, and thought it would be cool to actually dispatch 1A12.

I found a better job, and on my last shift as dispatcher, I finally got the chance to send 1A12 on a call!

Both Adam 12 and Route 66 run on ME tv so I have watching both again in for the last few years.
Great shows, great actor.

Great Actor, was also in Sands of Iwo Jima with John Wayne and Gunfight at the O.K. Corral with Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas.
