Water is warmer than the air! slap on some waders. Throw in a few hand warmers and go for it.

I gotta agree. You should be out there detectin. Been lots of rain here in Hawaii this winter but that leaves the beaches empty for people like us!
If you are dressed properly in layers and a pair of quality waders plus gloves and hot hands its easy to hunt the coldest days... here are a few pictures of cold beach hunts down here in CT in years past.

Yes, dressing for the cold is an art, having spent many winters fishing up on Georges Banks, proper gear is essential.
I actually enjoy working in the cold, key is to keep dry.
The problem I am having the last few years is that my eyes water so bad I can't see.
Not so much the cold, but the wind is what inhibits me now.
Anyone else have this condition???
