Hello all from South Central Pa. I'm just getting back in the MD game again. I had a Whites IDX Pro a few years ago that I parted with but couldn't stay away. I'm now digin holes with an ACE 250.

Here's what I unearthed this evening.

Neat skull. Seems to be a lot of skulls getting dug these days.

How do you like the ACE? Do you like it more than the White's?

Thanks again everyone for the nice welcome.

I can't say, at least yet that I like the ACE more than the Whites. I think the Whites was a bit more accurate as to what the display was telling me I was gonna dig. I liked the coil more on the Whites also, but I'm sure I'll get used to the ACE as well.

I do like the preselect modes on the ACE and and the buttons are way easier to use than the dials on the Whites but the writing and the display on the ACE is sooooo small and it's very hard to read.

I'm still very new so I can't really say which is better or worse but from a beginners stand point that is what I noticed.

Better watch out, metal detecting leads to the
senseless digging of holes in public places, and
then trying to cover them up so that no one
can see them.

Now, I ask you,,,,,, does that sound like what
you want to spend the rest of your life doing?

It's already too late for me. But I still try to
warn others.

Hay! How does that 250 stack up against the
Whites IDX Pro? Just curious.

I also found a skull pendant. It's shaped like a
guitar pick and with cross bones on it.
