I take my kids to Wednesday church which lasts from 5:00 until 8:00. There is a dinner in there around 6:00 but it is a lot of time to kill. Normally I go by one of the local parks and swing around.
Today between drop off and dinner, I had my new ATP just swinging around in the grass at the church when one of the office ladies comes out and asks if I am Bob. An odd question I thought. I said no and introduced myself and explained that I was just messing around with my new detector. She said that the groundsman had lost his wedding ring and they had contacted Bob to see if he could find it. I told her that I would be happy to assist and she was happy to let me try. Hopefully Bob or I can find it. Until then I'll now have something to do while my kids get some good churching in them. Sadly this is a very modern church so all finds will be modern. I did find a .50 piece today which I thought was cool.
